Why don't I do this more often?
Why don't I take my lunch to the beach and watch the waves curl onto the sand?
The breeze, the bees in the flowers, the little kids in their sandy flip flops...
The way the sun makes this reflective dance all the way to the horizon gives me time to pause...
time to think.
time to breathe.
time to remember that the Creator of the ocean is trustworthy with my heart, my life, my all.
And so today was a good day. A day of subway sandwich at the beach as the waves curled in and out resetting the rhythm of my day.
